These SMS Messaging Terms govern optional text messaging from Waypoint Trading Co. (operated by Waypoint Trading Co.) through the Waypoint / Pete Messaging program. Related documents: Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and SMS Consent & Opt-In Process.
1. Purpose / Message Types
Where you separately opt in, Waypoint / Pete Messaging may send SMS messages such as:
- Pete responses initiated or requested by the member
- Account / service notifications
- Trading alerts requested or enabled by the member
- Order / fill notifications where enabled
- Security / account notifications
- Product / service notifications directly related to Waypoint
2. Frequency and Rates
Message frequency varies based on user activity, settings, market activity, and enabled alerts.
Message and data rates may apply.
3. Opt Out / Help
Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
Supported opt-out keywords include STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT.
You may also withdraw consent in signed-in account settings (Profile → Communications / Notifications).
4. Consent Is Optional
Consent to receive SMS messages is optional and is not a condition of purchasing Waypoint products or services. Providing a phone number alone does not constitute SMS consent. SMS consent is collected separately from Terms / Privacy acceptance and is unchecked by default on signup.
5. Privacy of Mobile Information
Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent, will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

6. Carrier Delivery Limitations
Message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier’s availability and network conditions. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Waypoint does not guarantee delivery of every SMS.
