1. Nature of the Platform

Waypoint is a software and educational technology platform. Waypoint and Pete may provide market observations, analytics, educational commentary, probabilistic assessments, trade ideas, alerts, and automated or user-authorized order-management features where enabled.

2. No Personalized Advice

No content constitutes personalized investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. Pete is an AI-enabled component and is not a licensed financial adviser, broker, fiduciary, or portfolio manager.

3. Trading Risk

Trading futures, options, equities, leveraged instruments, and other securities/products involves substantial risk. Users can lose some or all capital committed to trading.

4. Performance Limitations

Past performance, simulated performance, hypothetical performance, backtests, model performance, and AI-generated performance do not guarantee future results.

5. Operational and Market Risks

Market conditions, execution latency, slippage, liquidity, data-feed errors, broker outages, software errors, exchange events, and connectivity failures can materially affect results.

6. Pete / AI Disclosure

AI output can be incorrect, misinterpret information, miss market changes, produce inconsistent results, and depend on data availability and configuration. Users should not assume AI-generated statements are guarantees.

7. User Responsibility

Members are responsible for:

deciding whether to enable trading functionality
selecting account/broker connections
setting risk limits
monitoring their accounts
understanding their broker/prop-firm rules
ensuring that their use of Waypoint is permitted
losses or gains occurring in their accounts
reviewing orders and positions where appropriate

8. Autonomous / Automated Features

Where autonomous trading is enabled, it uses parameters/settings authorized by the user. Automated systems can malfunction or behave differently from simulations. The user remains responsible for enabling/disabling the functionality. A kill switch or disable mechanism does not guarantee prevention of every loss.

9. Limitation Language

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Waypointâ€™s liability related to trading outcomes and platform use is limited as described in the Terms of Service. This disclosure does not claim that Waypoint can never be liable for anything that applicable law does not allow to be disclaimed.
